Rhodes is one of the biggest islands in the Dodecanese Islands archipelago. One of the biggest attractions to this island is obviously the white sandy beaches but the biggest assets are the beautiful architecture and fortifications in its capital. There are some beautiful and idyllic villages like Ialyssos, Kamiros and Lindos that have some of the classic architecture that Greek is all about. One of the dominating historical monuments is the Acropolis of ancient Rhodes, which dates back to the Hellenistic period. There are temples dedicated to Aphrodite and Helios. The spas of Kallithea are extremely popular with tourists as these hot springs are surrounded by swaying palm trees, sandy beaches and beautiful architecture.
The real estate investment market in Rhodes has been doing quite well and a nice beach facing house for sale at €500,000 or a sea view villa for €290,000.
